Local Townsend resident Shelley Douthett is an author and a historian buff. In the past couple of years Shelley has started to maintain the Centerville Cemetery located just north of Townsend. Shelley has been writing articles published in the MT43News newspaper about her efforts to cleanup the cemetery; restore grave stones; and she has done extensive research on the people that have been buried in the Centerville Cemetery.
